Conference on sustainable urban development by HuGBC
The one-day event, held on the 16th of September, will focus on the question of turning the attention of local decision makers towards sustainability.
One of the most important challenges of our age is to encourage local govenments and decision making systems towards a sustainable approach. Although Hungarian settlements actively take part in European Union and Hungarian development objcetives, but it is still a lot to be done. Even if in the 2014-2020 EU budget period quite a lot of Hungarian and EU grants are available which aim to help reaching environmental goals, e.g. energy efficiency.
Hungary Green Building Council, as an organisation made up by Hungarian professionals of the field of green building, offers professional help for local governments for setting up action plans of sustainabilty, environmental consciusness and energy efficiency for their settlements.
"Sustainable urban development" conference will be held on the 16th of September 2015. During the one-day event professionals of the field will help us to explore the topic.
