HuGBC & RICS Green Talk on January 16: Introduction to the LEED v4.1 rating system

Michael Smithing FRICS (LEED AP ID+C, BREEAM Assessor, BREEAM In-Use Assessor Director) from Colliers will share information about the LEED rating system changes based on his experiences on the LEED Roundtable meeting on November 6, 2017 in Boston

LEED version 4 has now been for over a year, and USGBC has realized that changes are necessary to address the concerns voiced by market practitioners – and to boost uptake of a number of credits in the rating system.  LEED v4.1 will be rolled out over the course of the first half of 2018 to address these concerns.  This presentation will provide an insight into the uptake of LEED v4 credits across the different rating systems and an overview of everything we know about the LEED v4.1 rating systems.  The presentation will also provide information on the newly formed Regional LEED Steering Committees.

•      Understand which LEED v4 credits have the lowest market uptake.
•      Comprehend the LEED v4.1 implementation timetable and process
•      Grasp the opportunity to join the European Regional LEED Steering Committee.
